Who we are

About

Neurofield is led by Harvard Medical School-trained neuroscientist Sarah Certel and former player James Bosco. Dr. Certel’s passion for baseball along with a deep knowledge of the neuroscience of decision-making provides the conceptual basis for assessing player evaluation strength. Dr. Certel has received multiple NIH grants for ongoing work in the neural basis of decision-making.

James Bosco’s firsthand, comprehensive knowledge of baseball at the amateur and professional level provides a view of the game that is only attained from experience at the highest level of the sport. Beyond the field, James is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Biochemistry & Biophysics which gives him the unique ability to understand both the sports and science worlds.
